This course is designed for professionals who are planning to or already work in the healthcare field. It is a professional course and covers material that is not covered in the Heartsaver© course. However, you DO NOT have to be a healthcare professional in order to attend this course. This course will be more in-depth, cover more material, and cost more than the basic Heartsaver© course.
- Professional CPR for Infant, Child, and Adult victims
- How to give rescue breaths with a pocket mask and a BVM
- How to assess for breathing and a pulse
- How to apply and use an AED
You will also need the BLS for Healthcare Providers Textbook. It is available for purchase on the Resources page.
